The Field Logistics Coordinator is a driving-based, client-facing role responsible for the majority of KAIN Automation's equipment pickups and deliveries across the GTA and surrounding region. As the team member our clients see most often, you are the face of KAIN Automation in the field. The successful candidate shows up on time, handles equipment with care, represents the company professionally on site, and keeps the office informed on every run.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Pickups & Deliveries
- Pick up and deliver industrial automation equipment, components, and repaired units to and from client sites, suppliers, and our facility.
- Plan and sequence daily routes to meet committed pickup and delivery windows.
- Safely load, secure, and unload equipment.
2.Client Engagement
- Act as an on-site point of contact for clients: confirm pickups, receive equipment issues and requests, and relay them accurately to the office.
- Represent the company professionally during every client interaction.
- Help build a positive brand image through excellent service and follow-through.
3.Documentation & Systems
- Verify, document, and obtain sign-off on all pickups and deliveries (paperwork, photos, packing slips, chain-of-custody details).
- Update work orders and delivery status in Kain KATS in real time.
4.Communication
- Communicate delays, issues, or client concerns promptly by phone, text, and email.
- Keep technicians, admin staff, and leadership informed on delivery status and timing.
5.Vehicle & General Support
- Keep the company vehicle clean and organized, complete pre-trip checks, and report maintenance needs.
- Support the shop and office with logistics and general tasks between runs.
REQUIREMENTS
· Valid Ontario G licence with a clean driving record; a current driver's abstract is required prior to hire.
· Proven reliability and punctuality.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Personable and professional, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Computer literate and comfortable with smartphones, email, mobile apps, and work order or delivery tracking software.
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle equipment safely.
· Strong knowledge of GTA roads and ability to navigate efficiently.
PREFERRED SKILLS
· 1+ years of experience in commercial delivery, courier, or a client-facing driving role.
· Experience handling industrial, electrical, or sensitive equipment.
· Familiarity with work order or dispatch software.
· Based in or near Mississauga.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
· $22–$25/hour, based on experience.
· Company vehicle provided.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
A mix of road time, client sites, and our Mississauga facility. You will be part of a small, hands-on team where your reliability directly affects the client experience.
