On-Call Snow Crew
Don’t want a full-time winter job? Want to pick up extra income when it snows? This could be a great fit.
This is an on-call position with no guaranteed hours. When snow shifts are available, you can choose to take them based on your availability. The more you work over the season, the more you can earn through milestone bonuses.

- Want occasional, on-call winter work
- Are willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends or holidays when you accept a shift
- Own appropriate winter gear, including boots, a parka and gloves
- Enjoy physical, outdoor work
ROLE DETAILS
- On-call from November to April
- No guaranteed hours
- Work is primarily sidewalk snow removal
- Work in crews using shovels and other basic snow-removal tools
- Apply ice melt to sidewalks, entrances and stairs
- Shifts are offered based on the size of the snow event and the number of people required
REQUIREMENTS
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in difficult winter conditions
- Reliable transportation to get to work during snow events
- Snow removal experience is helpful, but not required
