Role Description This is a full-time, Outside Sales/Business Development role based in Bradford, Ontario. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and conducting on-site meetings with potential and existing customers. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, preparing and delivering product presentations, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to develop solutions, and preparing quotations and proposals. The role also involves maintaining and growing key accounts, providing customer service and field support, gathering market intelligence, and contributing to sales forecasts and strategic planning. Travel within the region to customer locations and industry events is expected.
Qualifications
- Customer-facing skills in Field Service and Customer Service to support client needs and post-sales follow-up.
- Strong Sales and Business Development skills for prospecting, negotiating, and closing new opportunities.
- Account Management capabilities to build long-term relationships, manage key accounts, and ensure customer retention.
- Training skills to educate customers and internal teams on product features, applications, and best practices.
- Experience in manufacturing, plastics, or industrial products is an asset.
- Ability to interpret technical information and work closely with engineering and operations teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
