We currently have over 120 childcare centres across Canada are constantly expanding; come and grow within the company!
We are currently looking to hire on call supply ECE's at our Victoria location!
Responsibilities-being
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum
- Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
- Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
- Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
- Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops
Specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents, and co-workers.
- Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
- Strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Valid British Columbia ECE License
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
- Immunizations up to date
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up-to 45 pounds
