Role Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and highly motivated Retail Sales Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys fashion, has exceptional sales abilities, loves interacting with customers, and takes pride in creating an outstanding shopping experience.
We are looking for more than someone who can simply work in a retail store. We want someone who is confident in sales, takes initiative, builds relationships with customers, and contributes positively to the overall success of our boutique.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming, friendly, and enjoyable shopping environment.
- Proactively engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized styling and product recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong sales skills, confidently recommending additional items and putting together complete outfits.
- Build lasting relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store at all times.
- Take initiative in merchandising, organizing displays, replenishing inventory, and ensuring the store is always presentable.
- Stay knowledgeable about our brands, new arrivals, sizing, and current fashion trends.
- Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately using the point of sale system.
- Being able to open and close the store, including keyholder responsibilities when required.
- Work independently, remain productive during quieter periods, and take ownership of daily responsibilities.

- A passion for fashion: A genuine interest in clothing, styling, and keeping up with the latest trends, particularly in girls’ and tween fashion.
- Exceptional reliability: Someone punctual, dependable, committed to their scheduled shifts, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills: Someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully presented, clean, and organized retail environment.
- Initiative and a strong work ethic: Someone who recognizes what needs to be done and takes action without constant direction.
- Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate professionally and confidently with customers, parents, and team members.
Proven retail sales experience is strongly preferred, particularly in fashion or boutique retail.
Availability
This is a part time, on site position at our North York boutique. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be available for scheduled weekday shifts, with occasional weekend availability as needed.
