A rapidly growing North American manufacturer of building automation, sensing, and gas detection technologies is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead business development and sales growth throughout Quebec.

The Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding the organization's presence throughout Quebec, working across three primary sales channels:
- OEM Manufacturers: Developing relationships with equipment manufacturers and supporting the integration of sensing and control technologies into their products.
- Distribution Partners: Strengthening established channel relationships while identifying opportunities to expand market coverage and product penetration.
- Systems Integrators & Contractors: Supporting building automation specialists, controls contractors, and mechanical contractors with technical solutions for commercial and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Management & Business Development
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share throughout Quebec.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across OEMs, distribution partners, systems integrators, and contractors.
- Expand business within established accounts while identifying underserved markets and new customer opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans aligned with revenue objectives, sales targets, and budgets.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the HVAC and building automation sectors.
Account & Channel Management
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders throughout the building automation industry.
- Support and expand distribution partnerships to strengthen market coverage and sales performance.
- Collaborate with systems integrators, mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, and equipment manufacturers to identify application-specific opportunities.
- Increase customer adoption of the company's product portfolio through consultative selling and technical engagement.
- Provide ongoing support to channel partners, ensuring effective communication, product knowledge, and customer satisfaction.
Technical Sales & Customer Support
- Provide consultative sales support for HVAC sensing, building automation, environmental monitoring, and gas detection applications.
- Explain product functionality, technical specifications, and system applications to customers with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Assist customers with product selection, application requirements, pricing, and quotation development.
- Deliver product presentations and technical discussions that demonstrate the value of the company's solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technical, product management, and customer service teams to address customer requirements and market feedback.
Sales Operations & Execution
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer interactions, sales opportunities, pipeline activity, and forecasts.
- Manage quotations, pricing discussions, purchase order reviews, and customer follow-up activities.
- Prepare territory sales forecasts, business plans, and expense budgets supported by market analysis and business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits throughout Quebec to strengthen relationships and advance sales opportunities.
- Monitor territory performance against established objectives and implement strategies to achieve continued growth.
- Support customer satisfaction and retention through responsive communication and proactive account management.

Qualifications & Experience
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of technical, consultative, or solution-based sales experience, ideally within HVAC, building automation, instrumentation, or a related technical industry.
- Demonstrated success in territory management, account development, and new business generation.
- Experience working with OEM manufacturers, distribution channels, systems integrators, or contractors.
- Proven ability to develop relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers.
- Experience managing an established territory while identifying opportunities for incremental revenue growth.
Relevant industry experience may include:

- Building automation and building management systems (BAS/BMS)

Education
