About kinshipkinship is the precision-learning operating system for K–12. Our focus is singular: dramatically better learning outcomes for every student. We deliver tangible outcomes through mastery-based learning and school transformation, empowering educators, students, and district leaders with the tools and support needed for lasting impact in real classrooms.
The Rolekinship builds strong, collaborative relationships with the schools launching our product and methodology. Onboarding timelines can span months and require close coordination between kinship and multiple school stakeholders. Prior to launch, schools work through a detailed checklist to ensure readiness. Post-launch, leadership and school staff partner on implementation and data review to ensure school success.
The Implementation Specialist is a key part of that collaboration. You will work directly with our Head of Pilots and alongside the Partners, our school relationship managers and account owners. Together, you’ll make sure every school is ready to launch and stays on track once it does. You will know where every school stands, catch problems before they reach a classroom, and support the critical trust we build with schools.
What you will do- Pre-launch. Own rostering, account provisioning, and MAP assessment setup for every school launch. Own the technical steps of each school's launch checklist and support kinship Partners to onboard schools effectively.
- Post-launch. Track usage, progress, and assessment data across school launches, and escalate issues to the Head of Pilots or the kinship Partners. Identify trends across schools and recommend solutions.
- Drive system-wide improvement. Work with the Product team to turn the manual steps in the launch checklist into self-serve ones, so the number of hands-on steps per school falls each term and kinship meets expectations for schools and students. Route school needs and issues into kinship's feedback process.
What You Will Get- In this role you will have a front-row seat to how a new model of school works in practice, across a wide array of schools at once. Exposure to every part of the company: schools, partners, teacher training, and product. Real ownership and impact from the start.
- We see this role as a possible path onto the partner team: as the platform takes on more of the launch mechanics, someone who knows how schools actually get from signed to thriving has a strong case to grow into a Partner role.
What We're Looking For- You are organized and careful with details. Multi-step processes do not intimidate you, and you can hold many moving pieces in your head at once. You pick up new software quickly and are comfortable in admin tools, spreadsheets, and student data.
- You have 1-3 years of experience in or around schools, whether as a teacher, in school operations, or at a school-facing product. You understand that schools run on relationships and trust. You notice when something is off and you say so. You do not wait to be told what to do when the next step is obvious, and you ask good questions when it is not.
- You want to be close to the work that matters, and you are hungry to learn fast. You will learn how a school goes from signed to launched to thriving, end to end, and there are few better foundations for a career in education operations, product, or partnerships.
