About the Position
Kinton Ramen Guelph is looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming dining experience by providing attentive service, taking accurate orders, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen
- Explain menu items, ingredients, and available options when requested
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Check in with guests to ensure their needs are met
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/POS transactions
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented dining and service areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members to provide smooth service
- Assist with opening, closing, and other restaurant duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or serving experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Positive, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
