Knowles Centre is a non-profit, community-based organization that has been supporting children, youth, and families since 1907.
While our early roots were in caring for boys historically known as Knowles School for Boys our work has evolved to reflect the diverse needs of today’s communities. We now support children, youth, and young adults of all genders through inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded programs.
We provide safe, caring environments that help young people overcome barriers, heal from trauma, and build the skills needed to thrive. Our work is grounded in relationship-based care, equity, and community partnership.
Our core programs include Healing Homes, Treatment Foster Care, Supported Advancement to Independent Living (SAIL), Sexual Abuse Treatment Care, Moving Forward, and our Day Treatment Program, delivered in partnership with the River East Transcona School Division.
If you would like to support or positively impact the lives of children and youth in care, please contact us at info@knowlescentre.org or visit our website to learn more.
