About KOHO
We’re on a mission to make financial services better for every Canadian. That means no hidden fees, no predatory interest rates - just financial products designed to help our users spend smart, save more, and build real wealth. We’re a performance organization with a strong heart: we care deeply about outcomes, and everything ties back to our mission - to financially empower a generation of Canadians.
At KOHO, we’re not your average 9-5. We believe real impact comes from people who are trusted, empowered, and supported to do their best work - without sacrificing their lives to do it. We prioritize work-life integration, not just work-life balance. That means asynchronous collaboration, flexible hours, and a remote-first setup built around autonomy and high trust.
KOHO is entering its next chapter - leaner, smarter, more AI-integrated. We’re building for impact, not bureaucracy. If you thrive in environments that value clarity, ownership, and bold thinking, you’ll fit right in.
🎯 About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, Collections & Recoveries to join our team for a role to work remotely based in Canada. Reporting to the Group Product Manager of Credit, you'll join a fast-paced, cross-functional team that drives KOHO's credit product strategy.
You'll own the roadmap and execution across KOHO's collections and recoveries service, which includes both revolving and installment credit products. You'll scale and optimize the services we have for existing credit products and launch services for new credit products that help Canadians borrow on fair, transparent terms. KOHO is building toward becoming a full-service bank, and this role will shape how millions of Canadians access credit. That means helping users borrow responsibly when they need it, and giving them a real path back to good standing when they fall behind.
🚧 What You'll Be Doing
You'll be owning the end-to-end product lifecycle for KOHO's installment lending products, from valuations, strategy and PRDs through STO, launch, and ongoing optimization.
You'll be creating consistent collections & recoveries processes across our suite of revolving (Cover, CB, SCB) and installment (Pay Later) credit products, including a Collections Hub in-app
You'll be building new lending products from 0 to 1, including Hardship and Settlement loans, to give delinquent users a structured payment plan, reduce losses, and keep the customer relationship intact.
You’ll be running experiments and measuring the impact on gross profit from credit products, such as turning on/off on-load collections and pay-date-aligned due dates
You'll be working with Lifecycle, Engineering, Design, and Data Science on loan servicing, adjudication models, and decisioning logic, so that borrowing at KOHO is simple, fast, and transparent.
You'll be partnering closely with Credit Strategy, Financial Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Legal so that lending products meet regulatory requirements and land on a sound P&L
You are highly analytical and commercially minded. You're comfortable pulling your own data in SQL, dbt, or Redshift, and you can build a business case around unit economics, loss rates, and portfolio performance.
You have a deep understanding of credit risk and the regulatory landscape for lending in Canada, such as cost of borrowing disclosure, FCAC and OSFI expectations, and credit bureau reporting.
You have a strong track record of execution in complex, regulated environments. You break ambiguous problems into clear plans and ship on time with many stakeholders involved.
You are AI-native. You use AI tools every day to move faster on analysis, writing, and prototyping, and you bring that mindset to your team.
The budgeted salary range for this role is $160,000 - 190,000 CAD / year.
At KOHO, we are dedicated to providing pay transparency to all candidates. Compensation at KOHO is determined through various factors including but not limited to: comparable salary market data within Canada, technical skill assessment, a holistic view of previous work history, and internal pay equity with other KOHO team members.
If you’re energized by challenge, motivated by mission, and want to be part of a team that punches above its weight - we want to hear from you.
The KOHO culture is one of collaboration, creativity, and diverse perspectives. We are committed to building and fostering an inclusive, accessible environment for everyone. If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding accessibility needs, please contact peopleaccessibility@koho.ca and the People and Culture team will be happy to help.
AI Disclosure: KOHO uses artificial intelligence (AI) in certain aspects of its recruitment process to screen, assess, or select applicants. For any questions or concerns, please contact us at talent@koho.ca.
Note: this posting is for an existing vacancy that we are seeking to fill.
