Kootenay Rockies Tourism is a not-for-profit society governed by the BC Societies Act. We are one of five Regional Destination Management Organizations working on behalf of the tourism sector to support and advance the sustainable tourism economy. KRT provides a critical link between the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, the Crown Corporation Destination BC, municipalities, community DMOs, tourism businesses, Indigenous communities and businesses as well as not-for-profit organizations that are invested in the tourism economy in this region.
