Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BSA) to support a strategic Data Modernization Program focused on delivering enhanced Client Profitability Insights across Commercial Banking. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of Business Analysts, business stakeholders, and technology partners to define, analyze, and document business and solution requirements. This role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and experience working within data-driven transformation initiatives utilizing Azure, Databricks, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with fellow Business Analysts to gather, analyze, and deliver business and solution requirements for the Data Modernization Program.
Engage with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand business objectives and translate them into detailed requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, product owners, and technology teams.
Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify business needs and solution opportunities.
Lead requirement elicitation activities, ask insightful questions, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and data requirements.
Support solution design and ensure requirements alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and deliverables.
Collaborate with data engineering and reporting teams to support data modeling, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
Participate in testing, validation, and implementation activities to ensure business requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or Business Systems Analyst (BSA).
Strong experience delivering large-scale data, reporting, or modernization initiatives.
Experience working within Commercial Banking environments and understanding of commercial banking products and services.
Proven ability to independently drive requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement activities.
Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience creating business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements, user stories, process maps, and workflow documentation.
Ability to bridge communication between business and technology teams effectively.
