Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced L3 Linux Administrator with strong expertise in Red Hat Linux, IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Ansible Automation, and Configuration as Code (CaC). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining mission-critical production environments, supporting enterprise middleware platforms, driving infrastructure automation, and ensuring system availability, stability, security, and performance.
The role requires deep technical expertise in Linux administration, WebSphere middleware, infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and production support within large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers across Production, DR, and Non-Production environments.
Perform OS installation, patching, upgrades, security hardening, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot Linux operating system, storage, file system, networking, and security-related issues.
Monitor system health, capacity, and performance.
Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams to design and implement robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure and systems
Automate the deployment, scaling, and observability of applications and services
Continuously improve and optimize the performance, availability, and security of our systems
Work closely with the SRE team to design and implement deployment pipelines, incident response and recovery plans

Install, configure, administer, and support IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS/WAS ND).
Manage application deployments, clustering, node synchronization, and JVM tuning.
Support IBM HTTP Server (IHS), Plugin configurations, SSL certificate management, and middleware integrations.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for WebSphere production incidents.
Support application performance tuning and platform optimization.
Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Automation Frameworks.
Implement and support Configuration as Code (CaC) principles to standardize environment configurations.
Automate server provisioning, patching, middleware deployments, compliance checks, and configuration management.
Ensure configuration consistency across environments through Git-based workflows and automation.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency.
