Our client is a well-established and very successful leader in the transportation industry. Through their various divisions they offer a variety of Transportation solutions. They are currently looking for an Operations Manager for their asset based bulk chemical transport operations in Hamilton. Reporting to the General Manager the Operations Manager will oversee daily transportation, dispatch, customer service, and driver operations while ensuring exceptional service, safety, compliance, and overall business performance.
The ideal candidate will have significant operations leadership experience in the trucking and transportation industry including substantial exposure to and an understanding of bulk chemical transport operations. In addition, the right person will be an innovative, forward thinking leader with strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
