Description and Requirements
Job Summary: Lenovo is seeking a Canada GICS CFS Operation Leader to lead the Canada 2nd Stage Configuration Services Operation. The leader in this role will strengthen operational governance, enable growth, and manage overall costs.
Key Responsibilities
1) Canada CFS site execution leadership
- Lead continuous improvement of Canada CFS, including capacity planning and throughput management using known site constraints
- Design and implement business + system process controls to reduce human-error-driven misses and improve delivery reliability.
- Drive structured governance for risk/issue management, escalations, and KPI visibility to ensure predictable outcomes and strong seller confidence.
- Ensure operational readiness to continue to expand Canada’s lifecycle services scope (kitting/configuration, repair coordination, asset management, disposal & certified data erasure).
- Ensure strong inventory management for customer owned inventory (including returns)
2) Clearly define handovers
New CFS Projects
- Validate project intake governance for North America CFS/ITC work: validate request details, ensure clear requirements and order flow into CFS, and coordinate across ITC/SMO/logistics as needed.
- Complete First Article Test, collaborate with In-take PM and DWS to rollout schedules, shipment coordination, and executive-ready status/risk reporting.
Warehousing:
- Stock Intake from, and Handover to Warehouse team
3) Global alignment:
- Work with worldwide GICS/ CFS counterparts to maintain global process alignment
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in operations management in a services delivery / supply chain / fulfillment / configuration environment.
- Strong ability to drive cross-functional execution (Sales, Delivery, Supply Chain, Operations, IT) and establish clear governance and operating cadence.
- Proven capability to implement process controls that reduce errors and improve delivery quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of CFS service capabilities relevant in Japan (e.g., Autopilot / VPN-based staging, BIOS customization, labeling/asset management, lifecycle returns & certified data wipe).
- Proven experience driving data-driven transformation.

You communicate clearly with executives and front-line operators alike, and you are comfortable taking ownership in ambiguous environments to stabilize operations and accelerate growth.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 92,000–140,990 CAD. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
