Leo Vets - A New Kind of Veterinary Practice Starts Here ✨
Leo Vets is a new, rapidly growing independent practice in Waterford looking for two wonderful RVTs to join our team.
We believe there is courage in doing things differently.
After launching our mobile practice in Fall 2025, we opened our purpose-built, full-service clinic in April and have been overwhelmed by the support we've received from our community. The response has been incredible, and we're growing our team to keep pace while staying true to the things that matter most: relationships, collaboration, and exceptional patient care.
Leo Vets was built with intention. Our 3,300 sq. ft., five-exam-room clinic was designed to offer everything a modern veterinary practice needs while feeling nothing like a traditional clinic. Instead of a reception desk, you'll find a coffee bar ☕, a treat bar for pets 🐾, and comfortable living-room-style seating that helps create an environment where meaningful conversations and lasting relationships happen naturally.
The Role
At Leo Vets, RVTs are a cornerstone of the care we provide and an integral part of our medical team. We've built a practice where RVTs are valued, empowered, and given opportunities to fully utilize their skills while continuing to grow professionally.
Our RVTs are actively involved throughout the patient journey and play a key role in patient care across the practice. Nursing care, administering treatments, diagnostics, dentistry, surgical support, anesthesia monitoring, client education, and patient advocacy are all cornerstones of the role. In addition to supporting DVM appointments, RVTs also lead their own appointments, including wellness, nutrition, and follow-up consultations. Whether in the clinic or participating in mobile visits, they are trusted and empowered members of the medical team whose knowledge, skills, and relationships with clients contribute directly to the care we provide.
Whether you're a new graduate looking for mentorship or an experienced RVT looking for your next chapter, you'll be surrounded by experienced and compassionate teammates who enjoy teaching, learning, and growing together.
A special interest in behaviour, training, dentistry, or another area of veterinary medicine would be highly valued. As Leo Vets continues to grow, we're excited to develop new programs and services, and we'd love to work with people who are eager to help bring those ideas to life.
