About the Role:
The Brick Associate, Merchandising plays a critical role in ensuring that our retail locations in Canada present products in an appealing and organized manner that drives customer engagement and sales. This position is responsible for executing merchandising strategies that align with company standards and seasonal campaigns, enhancing the overall shopping experience. The role requires close collaboration with store management and inventory teams to maintain optimal product displays and stock levels. The Brick Associate will analyze sales trends and customer feedback to recommend adjustments to merchandising plans, contributing to continuous improvement. Ultimately, this position supports the achievement of sales targets by creating an inviting and efficient retail environment that encourages customer purchases.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and sales principles.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, retail management, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a furniture or home goods retail environment.
- Familiarity with merchandising software or inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines and seasonal directives.
- Arrange and replenish merchandise on the sales floor to ensure product availability and attractive presentation.
- Collaborate with store management to plan and execute promotional displays and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the stock team to ensure timely restocking of high-demand items.
- Analyze sales data and customer preferences to suggest merchandising improvements and optimize product placement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Assist customers by providing product information and guidance related to merchandise displays.
