Original job description

Leon’s is currently looking for a self-motivated Part Time Sales Associate who is enthusiastic, hardworking and driven towards success. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with excellent attention to detail.

About Us:

Leon’s Furniture has locations from coast to coast, is Canadian owned, and has a rich history spanning over 110 years. Today, as in the past, Canadians have turned to us to provide their home furnishing needs, and we’re proud to be expanding our sales teams in every location to meet this challenge.

Many of our most successful associates joined Leon’s in entry level positions and with hard work, determination and desire they were able to achieve a level of success beyond their imaginations. These success stories are our greatest achievement. Let our story be your story. Whatever the position, Leon’s can open the door to a bright and exciting future for you. You bring the can-do attitude, and we will provide the tools for your success. Join us today!

We are looking for:

People who like people! 90% of being Sales Associate at Leon’s is interacting with and educating our customers. Must enjoy conversation.
People who like to learn! We offer extensive, quality training on all our products, so our Sales Associates can be confident in what we offer each customer.
People who like to be good at what they do (and are rewarded for it)! Continuously improving your skills and knowledge will increase your job satisfaction (and income).
People who want to grow! Take control of your future with opportunities for growth in a dynamic industry leading retailer.
Previous sales experience is not required. Your success is achieved with a sincere desire to learn, grow and provide the highest level of customer service possible. Our success is built on a diverse group of people coming together with shared values and the aspiration to help every customer that comes through our door.

We offer:

Profit Sharing
Employee Discounts & Partner Discount Programs
The chance to be part of a financially stable, well-respected, truly Canadian company with opportunities for growth from coast to coast
Continuous, quality education and training on our products and sales techniques

Compensation:

$45,000-$95,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).

Additional Information:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use: Leon’s may use AI tools to support the recruitment and selection process (e.g., screening resumes, scheduling interviews). Final hiring decisions are made by our teams.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. Accommodation is available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruitment process. Candidates with accommodation needs, please specify them with your application in the “Do you want to tell us anything else about yourself?” section.

How to Apply:
