in style.Role Description The Store Manager role at Lids is a full-time, on-site position located in North York, ON. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandising, inventory control, and visual standards to ensure an engaging fan experience. This role leads and develops team members through coaching, scheduling, performance feedback, and support with sales goals and service expectations. The Store Manager is responsible for driving revenue, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing promotional activities aligned with company initiatives. The role also includes maintaining compliance with retail loss prevention policies, handling cash management, and resolving customer concerns to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and brand integrity.

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering engaging, fan-centered experiences.
- Effective Communication skills to lead teams, provide clear direction, and interact professionally with customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Store Management experience, including supervising staff, managing daily operations, and driving sales performance in a retail environment.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including cash handling, inventory control, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Proven leadership abilities, including team development, problem-solving, and decision-making in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort with basic retail technology, such as POS systems, inventory software, and reporting tools.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in retail.
- Previous experience in fashion, sports, or specialty retail and supervisory or management experience is strongly beneficial.
