Original job description

As Canada’s largest physiotherapy company, Lifemark is passionate about enriching the health of Canadians through movement. While physiotherapy remains a core service, Kinesiology is integral in promoting our clients’ healing and improving recovery time. We believe when you move better, you feel better. This is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a Kinesiologist who shares this same philosophy.

The successful candidate will posses the ability to perform ergonomic assessment, POET’s, work hardening and facilitating FCE’s. This position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases.

If you’re someone who thrives in a dynamic out-patient clinic, is eager to learn more, and is passionate about helping our clients get back to life, you belong here!

Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist
Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs

Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge
Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart

Qualifications:
