Linking Hope

Linking Hope is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to turning surplus into support - and connection into action.

We exist to solve a simple but persistent problem: while frontline agencies across Manitoba are stretched thin trying to meet growing needs, valuable new and usable goods are often sitting unused or headed for landfill. Linking Hope bridges that gap.

We act as a connector - linking businesses with surplus inventory, community volunteers with meaningful opportunities, and grassroots agencies with the supplies they need to serve people with dignity. Clothing, hygiene items, household goods, winter gear, and other essentials are collected, sorted, and redistributed through trusted community partners who work directly with individuals and families every day.

Our model is intentionally lean and collaborative. By leveraging donated goods, volunteer time, and strong partnerships, we maximize impact while minimizing overhead. This approach allows us to support more than 80 frontline agencies, respond quickly during emergencies, and ensure that resources flow where they are needed most - when they are needed most.

At the heart of our work is dignity. We believe access to clean clothing, basic hygiene, and essential household items is not a luxury - it is foundational to health, stability, and belonging. Whether supporting people experiencing homelessness, families fleeing violence, newcomers building a new life, or communities impacted by crisis, we work alongside those already doing the hard, heart-led work on the ground.
