What you will do:
Programs and oversees the smooth operation of production robots during equipment design, build and commissioning as well as equipment in production.
Conduct Robot Simulations for new and existing lines as well as Robot Cycle Time analysis.
Create robot programs on new equipment for interaction with AI Cameras.
Program vision guided systems and create complete systems that interface material handling with robot applications.
Setup and commission robots.
Make adjustments to robot programs as required, including improving efficiency and cycle times for new and production equipment.
Communicate with PLC Programmer for handshake / PLC integration.
Documentation of equipment as required.
Supporting maintenance operations and training maintenance team members as required.
Develop robot standard program structure.
Programming of stand-alone machines.
What you will bring:
Electromechanical Engineering Technician / Technologist Diploma
Must have strong computer skills / PLC knowledge and be able to program
FANUC Robot experience an asset.
Must have 2D Vision & 3D bin picking experience
Five to Ten years automation / assembly equipment experience
Additional Information:
Compensation: $ 105,000 to $ 110,000 annually
