Role Description The Airfield Operations & Aviation Safety Support role is ideal for someone with at least two years of airfield operations experience and a solid understanding of basic aviation safety practices. You will support inspections, fuel system checks, and compliance follow‑ups as part of a hybrid oversight model led remotely from Montreal.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled onsite airside inspections
- Perform basic aviation fuel system checks (training provided if required)
- Support safety and compliance verification activities
- Coordinate with airport personnel and report findings
- Work closely with the Lead Aviation Safety Consultant through remote collaboration
Requirements
- Based in Calgary or surrounding area
- Minimum 2 years of airfield or airport operations experience
- Familiarity with aviation safety fundamentals (CARs knowledge is an asset)
- Reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to airports within ~1 hour of Calgary
