Original job description
Localhost is building a consumer AI product that makes private, local-first intelligence simple and useful. The product combines personal context, local files, memory, reusable skills, and intelligent model routing through a simple UX. We are a team of 6 with 5 engineers that are actively building the product.
We are looking for a founder-operator to join the founding team and own product, growth and distribution - serving as CEO.
The ideal candidate has launched products from 0 and created measurable user or revenue growth. We value speed, doing over talking, and high agency over conventional executive credentials.
This is a serious founder-level role - not consulting, advisory, or fractional work. The company is pre-launch and currently unfunded, and plans to raise seed financing by the end of the year. Meaningful founder equity is available, with cash compensation following financing.
