COMPANY PROFILE
Our client is a fast-growing Canadian manufacturer of custom conveyor systems, material handling solutions, and precision metal products that has doubled their business in the past 2 years. They credit this success in large part to talented professionals who make up their world-class manufacturing team. They are committed to sustaining this period of growth, investing in the people, equipment, process improvements, and technology the business needs to scale effectively.
As the company enters its next phase of growth, it is establishing a new Finance & Human Resources Leader position. The Finance function has been overseen by the President & CEO and is now being transitioned to a dedicated leader who will assume full ownership of Finance, join the senior leadership team, and build on a strong existing foundation. With a capable team already managing the day-to-day finance and administrative activities, the focus will be on providing strategic leadership, strengthening the function, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance & Human Resources Leader will lead the Finance function while providing oversight of Human Resources. This is a key leadership role responsible for financial reporting, planning, controls, and performance analysis, with a strong focus on manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will bring financial insight to business decisions, strengthen processes and reporting, and serve as a trusted partner to the General Manager and leadership team. The role also provides HR direction and oversight, supported by internal resources and external partners as needed- the individual does not need to be an HR specialist.
