We are hiring a Corporate Strategy Associate to work closely with the CEO and leadership team on fundraising, investor relations, strategic partnerships, and other corporate development initiatives.
This is a highly external-facing role.
You will help identify, develop, and maintain relationships with investors, strategic partners, technology companies, infrastructure providers, utilities, and other organizations relevant to LōD's growth.
You will be involved throughout the relationship lifecycle, from research and outreach to meeting preparation, follow-up, diligence, negotiation support, and helping turn conversations into investments, partnerships, pilots, and commercial opportunities.
The right person is analytical, highly organized, commercially minded, and exceptionally strong at building and maintaining professional relationships.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with the CEO on fundraising, investor relations, strategic partnerships, and corporate development
- Identify and research prospective venture capital, growth equity, strategic, corporate, and infrastructure investors
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing investors
- Support investor outreach, introductions, meetings, follow-ups, and ongoing communication
- Manage the company's investor pipeline and fundraising CRM
- Prepare investor presentations, pitch decks, company materials, briefing documents, and fundraising collateral
- Coordinate investor due diligence, including data-room management and responses to diligence requests
- Help prepare investor updates, shareholder communications, and board materials
- Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners across AI, data centers, energy, utilities, infrastructure, and technology
- Develop relationships with prospective partners and help move opportunities from initial conversation to concrete next steps
- Research companies, executives, investors, markets, and potential partnership opportunities before meetings
- Prepare the CEO and leadership team for important investor and partner meetings
- Participate in meetings and ensure actions, introductions, and follow-ups are completed
- Coordinate internally across engineering, product, finance, operations, and leadership teams to move external opportunities forward
- Support development of partnership proposals, business cases, and strategic presentations
- Conduct market, industry, competitor, and transaction research
- Support evaluation of financing opportunities, strategic investments, partnerships, and other corporate development initiatives
- Represent LōD at selected conferences, investor meetings, partner meetings, and industry events
- Take on special strategic projects with the CEO and executive team as the company grows
- What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in corporate development, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting, business development, investor relations, strategic finance, or a high-growth technology company
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Ability to research companies, industries, investors, and markets quickly and effectively
- Experience producing high-quality presentations and executive-level materials
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple relationships and workstreams at the same time
- Comfortable communicating with executives, investors, partners, and technical teams
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a fast-moving environment
- High degree of ownership, judgment, discretion, and professionalism
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
- Nice to Have
- Experience supporting a venture or growth-stage fundraising process
- Experience working with venture capital, corporate venture capital, private equity, or strategic investors
- Experience developing strategic or commercial partnerships
- Familiarity with financial modeling, company valuation, and venture financing
- Experience with investor or CRM platforms
- Experience in AI, data centers, energy, utilities, infrastructure, climate technology, or enterprise software
- Technical or engineering background combined with business or finance experience
This role offers unusually broad exposure to the strategic side of building a technology company.
You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team and participate in conversations with investors, technology companies, infrastructure providers, utilities, data center operators, and other industry leaders.
