Role Description The Catering Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Toronto, ON, responsible for driving corporate catering sales and managing client relationships. This role includes prospecting and qualifying new corporate clients, conducting sales presentations, and preparing tailored proposals and quotes based on headcount, dietary needs, and budget. The Catering Sales Manager will coordinate with food partners to plan events, ensure accurate orders, and oversee delivery logistics to support a seamless client experience. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring client satisfaction, resolving service issues, collaborating with operations on order fulfillment, and maintaining an up-to-date pipeline and sales reports. The role also includes identifying opportunities to expand accounts, gathering feedback to improve offerings, and representing Lunchlink at local networking events and industry functions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Catering Sales and Food & Beverage operations, with a strong understanding of corporate catering needs.
- Skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Event Planning experience, including coordinating menus, logistics, and timelines for corporate meetings and events.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Comfort working on-site in Toronto, ON, with the ability to visit client offices and food partners as needed.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, hospitality, catering, or related fields is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software; familiarity with sales reporting and forecasting is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate a client-focused, solutions-oriented mindset.
