About LYNXEL
LYNXEL Crop Protection is a Saskatchewan-focused crop-protection business serving farmers and growers, with an office in Emerald Park near Regina and a long-term vision to expand across the Canadian Prairies. Our product focus is PMRA-registered herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.
We are seeking a full-time Sales Agronomist with proven commercial crop-protection sales experience and established grower relationships in Saskatchewan. This is a sales-focused role for an experienced professional who can independently develop business, manage customer relationships and contribute to building an early-stage company.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business and build long-term relationships with farmers and growers.
- Sell PMRA-registered crop-protection products directly to agricultural end users.
- Identify customer needs, prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Support pre-book and in-season sales.
- Visit farms and agricultural customers throughout the agreed Saskatchewan territory.
- Provide practical product information and agronomic support within your qualifications and in accordance with registered product labels.
- Coordinate customer orders and delivery arrangements.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts and follow-up activities.
- Represent LYNXEL at grower meetings and agricultural industry events.
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of recent commercial sales experience selling crop-protection products directly to farmers or growers, including relevant experience in Canada.
- Established professional relationships with Saskatchewan farmers or growers developed through direct commercial sales of crop-protection products.
- A proven ability to generate sales, develop customer relationships and independently manage an agreed Saskatchewan territory.
- Practical knowledge of PMRA-registered crop-protection products and Saskatchewan or Canadian Prairie cropping systems.
- This position requires an experienced sales professional. Research, field trials, agronomic advisory work or pesticide application experience alone does not meet the commercial sales requirements.
- Education in agriculture, agronomy, crop science or agribusiness is an asset; relevant industry sales experience may be considered in place of formal education.
- Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- A valid driver’s licence and regular access to a reliable vehicle for business travel.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Location and Territory
This is a Saskatchewan-based role involving regular farm visits and territory travel. Our office is in Emerald Park, near Regina.
Candidates based elsewhere in Saskatchewan may be considered where their location, sales experience and established grower relationships support an agreed territory. Relocation to Regina is not required for these candidates.
Candidates currently living in another Canadian province may also be considered if they meet the sales experience and Saskatchewan grower relationship requirements and are willing and able to be based in Saskatchewan by the agreed start date.
LYNXEL does not provide immigration sponsorship, LMIA support or work-permit assistance for this position.
What We Offer
- Base salary plus commission.
- Mileage reimbursement for business travel.
- Compensation based on relevant experience and industry background.
- An opportunity to help build the sales business at an early stage and take on broader responsibilities as the company grows.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume highlighting your commercial crop-protection sales experience, the Canadian territories you have served, and your experience selling directly to farmers and growers in Saskatchewan.
We welcome applications from experienced crop-protection sales professionals with a proven sales record and established grower relationships in Saskatchewan.
