Macklan Group

The Macklan Group is a family-owned enterprise driven by innovation, social commitment, and community-building initiatives in Atlantic Canada. Based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, we've established ourselves as a leader in construction and real estate development, and a pioneer in offsite construction and manufacturing.

Community building is at the heart of our values. We're committed to generating economic and social development, and making a difference where it matters most.

Macklan Group brings together the capabilities of a dynamic company portfolio, including DORA Construction (design-build construction and site delivery), Eastcut Wood Building Solutions (offsite manufacturing of modular and mass timber building systems, based in Trenton NS), and Somerled Properties (real estate development and long-term asset management), supported by the Macklan Innovation Centre, our in-house design and engineering team. This integration allows projects to move from concept through manufacturing and construction as one coordinated team, supporting our broader commitment to sustainability through innovative business practices.
