Role Description The Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Stayner, ON. The Electrician will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, solar, and industrial settings. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, running wiring and conduit, installing fixtures and panels, and performing service calls. The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, completing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards. The Electrician will collaborate with team members, communicate clearly with customers, and document work performed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to field installations and service work.
- Valid electrician license or apprenticeship status in Ontario, with familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of tools, PPE, and safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Clearview, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood and Grey County.
