Magnum RFM Ice Cream, Inc. (MRIC) proudly calls the Philippines home, with roots tracing back to 1990 when Selecta Ice Cream began operations in Manggahan, Pasig City. Over the decades, the business has grown with Filipino consumers - becoming the ice cream brand leader in Metro Manila in 1997 and the national market leader by 2005.

In 1999, a joint venture between Unilever and RFM Corporation formed Unilever RFM Ice Cream, Inc. (URIC), building a strong foundation for innovation and category leadership. In December 2025, the business entered a new chapter, becoming an independent company as part of The Magnum Ice Cream Company and transitioning to Magnum RFM Ice Cream, Inc.

Today, MRIC brings its portfolio of iconic brands - Magnum, Selecta, Cornetto, Birthday, and Ben & Jerry’s - to millions of Filipinos nationwide. Through a strong network across traditional and modern trade, MRIC continues to make ice cream more accessible and relevant to everyday moments.
