Job Duties:
- Procurement, logistics and materials and inventory management functions for warehouse.
Process and expedite requisitions for material and equipment as required.
Issue and track Purchase Orders.
Verify specifications and price and coordinate deliveries.
Reconcile purchase orders and packing slips.
Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
Maintain inventory control and monitor appropriate inventory levels based on anticipated activity.
Perform regular cycle counts on inventories as required and document and investigate count discrepancies.
Assist in implementing improvements to current inventory controls.
Qualifications:- A minimum of 2 years of recent related experience including purchasing, supply chain, logistics or materials management experience.
- Experience in drilling industry would be considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to operate with little supervision.
- Safety conscious and able to safely lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong knowledge of computer programs and systems.
- Valid Driver’s License considered an asset.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
