You are a strategic, commercially minded marketing leader who connects marketing initiatives to business growth. You bring expertise in B2B demand generation, brand strategy, and sales and marketing alignment, combining creativity with data-driven insights to deliver measurable results.

With experience in digital marketing, CRM, automation, analytics, and AI, you embrace innovation and continuous improvement. You balance strategic thinking with practical execution, using market intelligence and financial insight to strengthen brand positioning, enhance customer engagement, and maximize ROI.
WHAT YOU’LL DO…
This role is accountable for marketing-driven growth, brand strength, customer and market intelligence, and marketing productivity. The Director sets marketing strategy, priorities, investment, and performance expectations while leading a high-performing team. The Director partners closely with Sales, Product Development, and business leaders to ensure marketing activities support revenue objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Lead global marketing strategy and annual planning across MAKR and its brands, aligning initiatives with business objectives and growth opportunities.
- Drive qualified leads, sales pipeline development, and revenue growth through targeted marketing strategies and strong Sales collaboration.
- Oversee digital marketing, websites, CRM, automation, analytics, and AI initiatives to improve customer engagement, conversion, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong brand positioning, messaging, communications, and creative standards across all brands.
- Lead trade shows, events, and experiential marketing initiatives to generate leads, strengthen relationships, and deliver measurable ROI.
- Direct go-to-market strategies, product launches, and sales enablement initiatives to support commercial growth.
- Leverage customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and inform business decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop marketing leaders and team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Manage marketing budgets, resources, agencies, and external partners to maximize effectiveness and return on investment.
- Establish KPIs, monitor marketing performance, and provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with senior leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary marketing teams and managers.
- Experience in B2B, multi-brand, or complex commercial organizations; global experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in demand generation, pipeline development, and sales alignment.
- Strong experience with digital marketing, websites, CRM, automation, analytics, and marketing technology.
- Experience leading brand, communications, content, and product marketing.
- Proven budget management and marketing ROI experience.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and contractors.
- Strong understanding of market intelligence and go-to-market strategy.
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent senior-level experience.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelowna, BC (805 Crowley Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 7G6).
