Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the QA Technician, Distribution Center, will be responsible for This job will serve as a support role for the completion of daily tasks required to maintain the integrity of the Food Safety Management system within the Quality Assurance department.
This is a new position for the company.
Shift: Mon - Fri --12:15pm-8:45pm (fully onsite, in-person) flexibility required

What You Will Be Doing
- Tasks related to document control which include maintenance of registers/logbooks, participation in the annual document review, lead communication on document changes, filing of records as needed on the public drive, review of operational records for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitoring of Site, building and Vehicle Operational Requirements
- Monitoring facility Management
- Control of Nonconformances /Execution of the Hold/Release program
- Complaints handling and Investigation on /Product Returns
- Fostering Good Operating Practices
- Special Projects for continual Improvement
- Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Adhere/comply with company policies and procedures.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

What You Will Bring
- No previous experience is required;
- Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities;
- Ability to work / excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;
- General Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office)
- Undergraduate degree in Food Safety, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or related field
