Role Description The Transportation Manager is a contract, hybrid role based in Mississauga, ON, with some flexibility for work from home. This role manages day-to-day transportation operations, including working with customers, dispatch planning, routing, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective movement.
Responsibilites:
- Coordinate vehicle pickups, deliveries, and routes.
- Schedule and communicate with drivers and transportation partners.
- Track vehicle movements and resolve delays or operational issues.
- Communicate with customers, dealerships, and carriers.
- Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation.
- Ensure timely, efficient, and professional service.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of transportation, logistics, dispatch, or fleet experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Vehicle transportation experience is an asset.
