Position Summary
March Elevator Limited is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to support our service operations team. The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring customer requests are handled promptly, technicians are scheduled efficiently, and service activities are communicated effectively to customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage incoming service requests, breakdown calls, and customer inquiries.
- Dispatch and schedule technicians for emergency service, repairs, callbacks, inspections, and maintenance visits.
- Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments based on workload, priorities, and availability.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer information within the company management system.
- Communicate service updates, technician arrival times, and job status to customers.
- Coordinate follow-up actions for outstanding repairs, quotations, and recommendations.
- Review service reports for completeness and ensure required documentation is received and filed.
- Assist with the preparation of customer reports, service agreements, and renewal documentation.
- Monitor service performance metrics and help identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Support billing processes by verifying work order accuracy and completion.
- Collaborate with service managers, technicians, purchasing, and administration to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with customers, suppliers, and team members.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, scheduling, or administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with service management, ERP, dispatch, or project management software is considered an asset.
- Experience in the elevator industry or other field service industries such as construction, mechanical, HVAC, or electrical services is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered assets but are not required:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
- Elevator Design and Modernization Fundamentals (EDM-F) certification.
- Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) certification.
- Experience coordinating elevator modernization, repair, maintenance, and construction projects.
- Familiarity with applicable elevator codes and standards, including ASME A17.1 / CSA B44.
- Experience working with field service technicians, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders in a technical service environment.
