Original job description

Through our training and mentorship programs, you will develop the skills, knowledge, and client relationships needed to succeed at the highest level. From day one you are building your own business in commercial real estate investment sales. You do not need industry experience to start. You need drive, discipline, and the willingness to build your career. Recent and upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply.

Why Join Us?

Structured, industry-leading training and mentorship so you learn directly from successful senior agents and managers
Uncapped earning potential
No prior commercial real estate experience needed, just a strong work ethic and coachability
AI tools that cut the busy work, so you spend more time prospecting, advising clients, and closing deals
A clear path to grow into a top producer, market leader, or executive
Build a career in the specialty that fits you, with opportunities across multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, land, and more
A national platform with access to buyers, sellers, and deal flow in every major market
Non-competing managers focused solely on your coaching and development

What You'll Be Doing

New business development via client outreach, including cold calls and building relationships
Prospecting and researching market data and industry trends
Attending networking and industry events
Advising clients on real estate investment strategies
Presenting marketing proposals and negotiating listings

Who You Are

Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to build something of your own
Coachable and driven. Backgrounds in athletics, leadership, or community involvement are a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred in business, finance, real estate, sales, entrepreneurship, economics, marketing, or a related field
Real estate license in the state where you will work (not required to interview)

Your effort should decide your income. Apply now, no commercial real estate experience needed.

This is a 100% commission-based, 1099 independent contractor position with unlimited earning potential. Compensation is derived solely from commissions earned on successfully completed transactions and may vary based on individual performance, transaction volume, and prevailing market conditions. In accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated annualized commission range for individuals in this role is: $0.00 to $250,000+.

Actual earnings will depend on the number and size of completed transactions and may vary significantly from this range. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer and posted commission ranges are provided in good faith for compliance with all relevant pay transparency regulations. As an independent contractor, this role is not eligible for company paid benefits.

Marcus & Millichap is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
