Mars Metal Company - Custom Lead Castings & Products

Established in 1979, Mars Metal Company™ manufactures specialized lead products for customers, in a variety of industries, worldwide, through its three divisions: Mars Metal Specialty Casting™, MarsKeel Technology™ and MarShield™.

Products manufactured included keels, counterweights, lead & steel test weights, ballast, sheet lead, lead shot, rolling shielding barriers, walls, and rooms; lead-lined drywall / sheet-rock and plywood, leaded glass, lead-lined doors, windows and frames; lead acrylic, borated polyethylene, T-Flex Tungsten shielding products and custom poured, fabricated and machined lead products. We manufacture and warehouse product in Ontario, Canada, Houston, Texas and Boynton Beach, Florida. We are ISO9001 and CAN3-Z299.2-85 certified.

Through its Specialty Casting Division, Mars Metal™ provides lead casting and fabrication, with services in pattern making, mould manufacturing, CNC machining and surface finishing. Our diverse production facilities include capabilities of producing precision lead castings from less than 1 lb to over 250,000 lbs in single, continuous pours.

Mars Metal™'s evolution in superior technologies and applications began with precision keel casting for custom and production sailboat builders. The MarsKeel Technology™ Division provides design support, metallurgical consultation, and rigid adherence to specifications that keel manufacturing demands.

Along with these customer driven designs, Mars Metal™ manufactures and supplies custom radiation shielding products and solutions through its MarShield™ Division, serving the government, nuclear, medical, dental and veterinary industries. We have nuclear industry approved pouring procedures.
