Your Team, Your Impact
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with specialized expertise in Jenkins and build automation. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Your primary focus will be transforming source code into reliable, executable software artifacts, eliminating manual deployment friction, and ensuring fast, scalable, and highly available build systems.
What You Can Expect
- Pipeline Architecting: Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Build & Release Automation: Automate the compilation, versioning, and packaging of application code into deployment-ready artifacts (e.g., using Maven, Gradle, or Docker).
- Testing Integration: Embed automated unit, integration, and security scanning tools (e.g., JUnit, SonarQube) directly into build workflows.
- Configuration Management: Maintain version control for all pipeline configurations, shared libraries, and build environments.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Actively monitor build queues and node health. Investigate and resolve pipeline bottlenecks, script failures, credential errors, and environment misconfigurations.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside development, QA, and operations teams to establish software delivery standards and streamline release cycles.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Release Engineering, or Systems Engineering role, with a heavy emphasis on Jenkins-driven workflows.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities with a data-driven approach to tracking down infrastructure faults.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to author comprehensive internal documentation and train developers on new automation standards.
- CI/CD Engine: Good knowledge of Jenkins administration, plugin management, distributed builds, and Jenkins Pipeline syntax.
- Scripting Languages: Strong proficiency in Groovy (for Jenkinsfiles/Shared Libraries), Bash, and Python.
- Version Control: Mastery of Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository hosting services (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
- Build Tools: Familiarity with ecosystem tools such as Maven, Gradle, npm, and NuGet.
Expected Base Pay Range (CAD)
118,700 - 158,300, $ per annum

This role is eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers, ensuring you are rewarded for your contributions and remain invested in the company's long-term success.
