Schedule – Possible shift work
- Days (Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:30 pm)
- Nights (Monday–Friday, 4:30 pm–1:00 am)
Responsibilities & Requirements
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced treating plant environment. You will operate a 12,000 lb. CAT forklift to move lumber, support daily treating plant operations, and carry out housekeeping and other general labour tasks as required. Responsibilities include:
- Loading wrapping chains with lumber to be wrapped.
- Loading cylinder carts with lumber to be treated.
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently in a busy industrial environment.
- Assisting with other treating plant duties as assigned.
- Performing general labour and material-handling duties as required.
You must be able to reliably commute, work day or night shifts, and communicate in English. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Forklift certification is preferred; candidates with at least 2 years of forklift operating experience will also be considered.
