About Masaro
Masaro is the voice intelligence layer for the jobsite. The plan for every construction project lives in conversations in the field that no one captures. Our AI voice agents capture those updates as they happen and turn them into live schedules, automatic delay detection and real-time visibility for the whole project team.
Construction is one of the largest industries in the world and one of the least digitized. We are building for the field first, where the work actually happens, and plugging into the systems contractors already run on, such as Primavera P6, MS Project and Procore.
The timing is the exciting part. Voice AI and agents just became good enough to work on a real jobsite. Enterprise pilots are about to start and a SOC 2 audit is underway. The engineer who joins now shapes the product, the architecture and the company.
The role
You will be Masaro's founding software engineer, working directly with the founders and owning the product end to end. Your first mission is to support the enterprise pilots coming up and make them succeed.
- Ship and harden the features our pilot customers need, fast
- Build and improve our voice and conversational agents, with a focus on accuracy and latency
- Build integrations with customer systems
- Work directly with pilot users and turn field feedback into product within days
- Set the engineering standards and architecture the team will grow on
What you bring to the table
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with production systems you have shipped and owned
- Hands-on experience building with AI agents: tool calling, orchestration, evals, and making agents reliable in production
- Strength in our stack: Next.js, Claude, MCP and Supabase
- A founder's mindset: you move fast, take ownership and are comfortable with ambiguity
- Clear communication with customers as well as teammates
Experience with voice AI, speech-to-text or construction tech is a plus, not a requirement.
Compensation
This is an equity-first role. You join as a true founding team member with meaningful equity in Masaro, and cash compensation follows as we close funding. It is built for someone who wants ownership and upside in a company at the start of its growth.
