About the Role
Match Retail is hiring an In-Store Marketing Coordinator to support the LG Electronics Canada Go-to-Market team. Reporting to the Head of Go-to-Market at LG Canada, this role will support the planning, creative development and execution of LG’s in-store marketing programs across key retail partners. You will coordinate retail displays, signage, POP materials, promotional assets and new product launches while working closely with LG teams, agencies, vendors and retail partners to ensure projects are delivered accurately, consistently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate in-store marketing projects from initial request through creative development, production, deployment, installation and completion.
- Support the development and execution of retail displays, fixtures, signage, POP/POS materials and promotional assets.
- Develop creative briefs that translate product, sales, promotional and brand objectives into clear direction for creative teams and agency partners.
- Coordinate creative reviews, revisions and approvals, ensuring materials are accurate, visually effective, on-brand and appropriate for the retail environment.
- Review materials for product information, pricing, claims, specifications and retailer requirements.
- Support new product launches, model transitions and retail floor updates, including display readiness, signage, product placement and installation timing.
- Maintain project timelines, deployment calendars, store lists, quantities, installation requirements and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, creative teams, agencies, vendors, installers and retail partners to coordinate deliverables and resolve issues.
- Track project milestones, outstanding actions, risks and installation deficiencies, escalating concerns where required.
- Support retail audits, competitive reviews and execution validation through reporting, photography and occasional store visits.
- Coordinate the ongoing maintenance, repair, replacement and updating of displays, fixtures and marketing materials to ensure LG’s retail presence remains current and presentation-ready.
- Support the tracking, replenishment, distribution and shipping of POP materials, signage, fixtures and other ISM assets, including identifying obsolete or outdated materials.
- Assist with project estimates, purchase orders, invoices, committed costs, budget tracking, accruals and month-end reconciliation.
- Maintain organized records of creative briefs, approved artwork, specifications, store deployments, installations and project status.
- Support project updates, presentations and reporting for Go-to-Market leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing coordination, retail marketing, merchandising, project coordination, creative production or a related environment is preferred.
- Relevant internship, co-op or comparable hands-on experience may also be considered.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, Design, Retail Management or a related field is an asset, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through and sense of urgency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear direction.
- Strong visual judgment and an interest in creative, brand and customer-facing marketing.
- Comfortable collaborating with agencies, vendors, retailers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and coordinate solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management or workflow tools is an asset.
- Experience with POP/POS materials, retail displays, budgets, purchase orders or invoices is an asset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment with changing priorities.
- Bilingual English/French is an asset.
- Ability to occasionally visit retail locations or travel as required.
