Role Description The Business Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. The Business Analyst will map and evaluate business processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and data integrity. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting stakeholder interviews and workshops, translating business needs into clear specifications, preparing reports and dashboards, and supporting the implementation of new systems or process changes. The role works closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, IT, and commercial teams, to ensure solutions are practical, measurable, and aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present findings clearly.
- Experience with business process mapping, optimization, and change management.
- Ability to define, manage, and prioritize business requirements across multiple projects.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and data analysis/reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial sectors is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work both independently and in teams.
