Role Description The Marketing Sales Executive Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. This position is responsible for identifying and contacting potential advertisers and business partners, presenting MCH’s media and advertising solutions, and closing sales to meet revenue targets. Daily activities include developing and maintaining client relationships, preparing proposals and media kits, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate campaign execution. The role also involves conducting market research, monitoring campaign performance, and providing regular reports and insights to improve marketing and sales strategies. The Marketing Sales Executive Officer contributes to brand growth by promoting MCH’s platforms and representing the company at local events and business meetings.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales, account management, or business development within media, advertising, or related industries.
- Strong marketing and promotional skills, including the ability to position digital and social media products to clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other Chinese dialects is a strong asset.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with digital media, online advertising, and social platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and WeChat.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with competence in using office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of the Montreal market and Chinese community, and willingness to work on-site and attend local events when required.
