Metalcraft Technology Inc. is a manufacturing company with more than 25 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication. We serve clients in Canada and the U.S. from our location in Coquitlam, BC. We are currently looking for a press brake operator to join our bending team.

As a Quality Control Technician, You Will
- Conduct sampling, inspection, and measurement of in-process and finished products.
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required.
- Perform quality control tests to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection and quality tools as needed.
- Identify root causes of quality issues, assign corrective actions, and follow up until completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and develop SOPs.
- Support the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production and report results to management.
- Uphold and enforce the company’s quality assurance policies and objectives.
- Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Perform soldering and rework as required.
Complete additional quality-related tasks to support the organization’s mission.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and quality assurance processes (QA/QC)
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and quality management systems
- Ability to perform detailed data collection, record keeping, and report generation
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Physically capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots are required (other PPE provided by the company).
Preferred Education & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 audits and quality management systems
- Experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
