We are currently seeking a
Licensed 433A Millwright (Maintenance Technician) to join our Maintenance team in Woodbridge, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving reliability, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping our operation running safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before they result in downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
- Replace or repair defective components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Support emergency breakdown response and work to minimize production interruptions.
- Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records.
Equipment Installation & Improvements
- Install, align, dismantle, and commission machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and layout drawings.
- Assist with machinery upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
- Recommend solutions that improve equipment performance and reliability.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Ensure work complies with all applicable regulatory and company standards.
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate closely with production, operations, and maintenance team members.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on equipment and process improvements.
- Support training and onboarding of team members when required.
What You BringRequired Qualifications
- Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and welding equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience documenting maintenance activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, wood products, building materials, or continuous production environment.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment and materials.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, and climbing.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and around manufacturing equipment.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Work Environment
