Introduction
We are looking for an Inside Sales Specialist, Slurry Handling Products to join our Customer Service team in Canada. In this role, you will support customer inquiries, quotations, and opportunity development related to slurry handling equipment, parts, upgrades, replacements, and related services. By combining technical product knowledge with commercial awareness, you will help deliver timely, accurate, and customer-focused solutions that strengthen customer relationships and support business growth.
You will report to the Customer Service Manager. This role is based in Canada, with hybrid working options available.
Team you will belong to
You will join a team of customer service and aftermarket professionals focused on supporting customers across the mining and minerals processing industries. Our team plays a key role in delivering responsive service, identifying customer needs, and helping customers maximize the performance and lifecycle of their equipment.
We collaborate closely with Customer Service Representatives, Site Account Managers, Technical Sales Support specialists, product experts, engineering teams, procurement teams, and customers. Our ways of working emphasize customer focus, collaboration, accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Support Customer Service Representatives and Site Account Managers with customer inquiries, quotations, and opportunities related to slurry handling products.
- Review customer requirements, installed equipment information, operating conditions, and supply history to help identify the most appropriate solutions.
- Identify equipment, replacement parts, upgrades, and aftermarket service opportunities within the installed base.
- Clarify technical and commercial information with customers and internal stakeholders before quotations are finalized.
- Prepare and support complex quotations, including scope, pricing, lead times, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with Technical Sales Support, engineering, product specialists, procurement teams, and business line resources to validate solutions.
- Follow up on open quotations and support the progression of qualified opportunities.
- Share slurry handling product knowledge across the Customer Service team and contribute to capability development.
What you'll bring
- Experience in technical sales, inside sales, customer service, product support, or another customer-facing industrial role.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build relationships and respond effectively to customer needs.
- Ability to review technical information, solve problems, and work through incomplete requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across sales, service, technical, and operational teams.
- Knowledge of slurry handling products, pumps, mineral processing equipment, or related aftermarket solutions (nice to have).
- Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, mining, or industrial engineering, or equivalent practical experience (nice to have).
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, or other CRM and ERP systems (nice to have).
