YOUR MISSION
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of our current technology ecosystem while guiding the organization toward becoming a more data-driven, automated, innovative, and AI-enabled enterprise. Your success will be measured not only by operational reliability but also by your ability to create tangible business value.
YOUR CURRENT PRIORITIES
- Stabilize infrastructure, cybersecurity, and overall system reliability; position the IT function as a strategic business partner to operations.
- Assess the organization’s technology maturity.
- Define a technology roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Identify and launch high-impact initiatives.
- Strengthen technology and data governance.
- Position technology as a strategic driver of growth and performance.
- Build and develop the IT team.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE
- A balanced role combining stability, continuous improvement, and transformation.
- Direct impact on more than 600 employees.
- Leadership of an IT team of approximately 10 professionals.
- Operations spanning 3 countries (Canada, United States, United Kingdom) and supporting 400 users.
- SAP environment and connected manufacturing ecosystem (MES, EDI, automation).
- Responsibility for optimizing an IT budget of approximately $7 million.
- A practical environment where results are visible and measurable.
- Direct interaction with senior leadership.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
- Ensure the stability and performance of our technology environment.
- Make IT a true business partner: keeping our plants running and helping sales teams succeed.
- Modernize our systems, data infrastructure, and business processes.
- Develop practical use cases for artificial intelligence and automation.
- Reduce technical debt by strengthening cybersecurity, resilience, and business continuity.
- Engage and inspire the IT team while guiding the organization through its transformation journey.
- Turn technology and data into a sustainable competitive advantage.
PROFILE & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology.
- Proven experience leading teams and developing talent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Experience managing transformation projects.
- Experience managing budgets, including both CAPEX and OPEX.
- Experience with, or deep understanding of, cybersecurity, data governance, and artificial intelligence.
- SAP experience (or another large-scale ERP system) in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in French and English.
