Senior Project Manager – New-Build ICI | Institutional & Healthcare
A growing construction management firm is expanding its project team and looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of complex new-build ICI projects across the GTA.
With a particularly strong pipeline of institutional and healthcare construction, including hospital projects, this is an opportunity to lead challenging builds from pre-construction through completion while working alongside an experienced and collaborative project and field team.
As Senior Project Manager, you’ll take a lead role in the overall delivery of your projects, partnering closely with the Site Superintendent and providing direction across clients, consultants, contractors, trades, suppliers, and internal teams.
You’ll have significant ownership over schedule, budget, contracts, project controls, risk, coordination, and overall project performance, with the autonomy to make decisions and keep projects moving.
What You’ll Do
- Lead new-build ICI projects from pre-construction through completion
- Manage complex institutional, healthcare, hospital, commercial, and other ICI projects
- Take ownership of project schedules, budgets, contracts, forecasts, and reporting
- Lead coordination between clients, consultants, contractors, trades, suppliers, and internal teams
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and documentation to identify and resolve issues early
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, site instructions, and project documentation
- Monitor costs, progress, quality, and schedule performance
- Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions
- Work closely with the Site Superintendent and field team to ensure successful project delivery
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Provide leadership, direction, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
- Support a collaborative project environment and contribute to the continued growth of the business
