QA Consultant with strong End-to-End (E2E) and Master Data Management (MDM) testing experience to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform E2E testing across multiple integrated systems and coordinate testing activities with internal and external teams.
- Perform Master Data Management (MDM) testing, including validating data quality, synchronization, transformations, integrations, and data flows across systems.
- Work with multiple stakeholders and external teams to coordinate data preparation, test execution, validations, and defect resolution.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, track, re-test, and verify defects through resolution.
- Work with backend data, system logs, traces, and databases to troubleshoot issues, trigger data processes, and validate data outputs.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and support testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Review and work with XML and JSON data as part of system and integration testing.
- Lead small testing initiatives, projects, or teams and coordinate testing activities through completion.
- Use test management tools to create and maintain test cases, track execution, and manage defects.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, QA team members, and business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, dependencies, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute new ideas and improvements to QA processes and take ownership of driving those ideas through completion.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working as a QA Consultant or in a comparable senior QA role.
- Strong End-to-End (E2E) testing experience, including testing multiple systems within the same project.
- Experience coordinating with external teams and multiple stakeholders for test data, system integrations, validations, and defect resolution.
- Hands-on Master Data Management (MDM) testing experience is required.
- Experience leading a small team, testing initiative, workstream, or project.
- Strong understanding of QA concepts, methodologies, processes, SDLC, and STLC.
- Hands-on experience using test management software to manage test cases, test execution, and defects.
- Strong experience with databases and SQL, including querying and validating backend data.
- Experience reading and working with XML and JSON.
- Familiarity with backend logs, traces, databases, and data flows for troubleshooting and validation.
- Strong experience actively communicating and collaborating with multiple technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership of initiatives from idea through completion.
The following experience would be considered an asset:
- Experience with Salesforce, particularly Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Previous experience as a Data Analyst and/or Business Analyst.
- Experience with APIs and API testing tools, such as Postman.
- Coding or scripting experience in any programming language.
- Experience using APIs or other technical approaches to support or automate testing processes.
